Your Knolo assistant, on every page
Open a side panel anywhere in Chrome and chat with the assistants you built in Knolo. They answer from your Space's knowledge, see the page you're on, and — with your approval — fill forms, click, and upload files for you.

What it's for
The web is where the work is. Now your AI is too.
Your knowledge and assistants shouldn't live in one tab. The extension brings your whole Space to whatever page you're working on.
Your knowledge, on every site
The assistant answers from your Space's Minds — the same knowledge, assistants, and skills you built in Knolo, now next to whatever page you're on.
It sees the page
Connect a tab and the assistant reads its structure and takes annotated screenshots, so you can ask about exactly what's in front of you — no copy-pasting.
It acts on the page
Fill forms from your knowledge, click buttons, pick dropdown options, and upload files straight from your Space — the assistant does the busywork in the tab.
You approve every action
Reading is free; acting is not. Every click, form fill, and upload waits for your explicit approval in the side panel before it touches the page.
Same threads as the web app
Conversations sync to your Space. Start on a website, continue in knolo.io — nothing lives only in the browser.
A side panel, not a takeover
Knolo lives in Chrome's native side panel. Your page stays untouched until you connect the tab, and only for sites you allow.
How it works
From install to acting on a page in four steps
Add Knolo to Chrome and sign in
Install the extension and sign in with your Knolo account — Google or email, the same login as the web app.
Pick your Space and assistant
Choose which Space, assistant, and thread to chat with. Everything you set up at knolo.io is already there.
Connect the tab
Open the side panel on the page you're working with and click “Connect this tab”. Chrome asks once for page access — that's what enables screenshots.
Chat — and let it work
Ask about the page, pull in your knowledge, or tell the assistant to fill that form. It proposes actions; you approve them.
FAQ
Questions about the extension
What can the extension do on a page?
It can read the page (a structured snapshot plus annotated screenshots) and act on it: fill form fields, click elements, select dropdown options, and upload files from your Knolo Space. Reading happens automatically; every action requires your approval first.
Which sites does it work on?
Any regular HTTP or HTTPS website. You connect one tab at a time, and Chrome asks for page access when you do. Browser-internal pages and the Chrome Web Store itself can't be scripted by any extension.
Is it safe? What runs without asking me?
Only reading — page snapshots and screenshots — runs without a prompt, and only on tabs you explicitly connected. Anything that changes the page (clicking, filling, selecting, uploading) is shown to you first and runs only after you approve it.
Do I need a Knolo account?
Yes — the extension is a window into your Knolo Space, so it needs your assistants and knowledge to be useful. Creating a Space is free and takes about a minute.
Where do my conversations live?
In your Space, same as the web app. Threads started in the extension appear in knolo.io and vice versa, so you can switch surfaces mid-conversation.
Which browsers are supported?
Google Chrome, via the Chrome Web Store. Other Chromium browsers that support Manifest V3 side panels generally work, but Chrome is what we test against.
